Each year the book seeks to balance the desire for creativity and expressive design, with the required practicalities of a reference and notebook. The size and format of the book are set – it’s what we do between the covers that makes the difference.

Solution

This year over 90% of the presenters were women. That called for a design that specifically acknowledges the content with type gently shaped in curves, a toned-down earthy palette and section divider pages of paintings by women of women. For the cover, lenticular printing over a henna image adds surprise, delight and reader involvement.
